There will be a tabletop sale of Magic items to be held on Sunday 28th September 2025, at Pennington, organised by Mervyn Cole. Like last year, it's going to be held at St Marks Community Hall. To get there, turn onto South Street from the A337 (the Christchurch to Lymington Road), go about 400 metres (heading North-West) and it's off to the left along here. There's a small lane with a narrow opening marked for the hall, go along here for 10 yards, and the car park is to your right.
Cost: Just £5 per person (which includes a cup of tea and a cake), and if you would like to have a table in order to sell your items, that's just an additional £4.
Time: 9:00 - 1:30pm (approx) with an auction towards the end. Open for dealers at 8:30.
Payment appreciated to Mervyn before early September (so that attendance figures can be firmed up). Cheque/Postal Order is suitable (to M. E. Cole: 7 Holmsley Close, Pennington, Lymington, Hants SO41 8DD. Please enclose your own phone number in case of changes). Tickets will then be waiting for you on the door.
Details
This is intended to be a tabletop sale for magic items, and also a few hours for a social chat. Anyone is welcome to either have a table for their own sales (or make exchanges with other sellers), or come along and browse the items available for sale. At the end, if items remain unsold, the seller has an option to get Mervyn to auction the items off.
I strongly advise people to come along to this. One of the dealers (John Hayes) refurbishes old magic items to a high standard, and I can thoroughly recommend browsing his stall in particular. There are some real bargans to be had.
There will be light refreshments available for sale during the day.
